Brain is most probably the greediest organ in our body. The brain takes most of the nutrient in our body. We can not blame our brain as a brain is the “boss” of our body. In order for you to boost your memory, you should eat properly.

First meal of the day, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Make sure you take a healthy breakfast. My suggestion will be a bowl of fresh vegetable salad. This bowl of salad will consist of antioxidants, including vitamin C, E and beta-carotene. These antioxidants help your brain to work in peak state as to reduce the threats of free radicals which act as damaging molecules in the brain that may damage your brain cell, which helps in remember things.

So what is the suggestion for the foods that contain antioxidants? The good sources for vitamin A and beta-carotene will be carrots, spinach. The sources of vitamin C will be citrus fruits, tomatoes, strawberries. The sources for vitamin E will be nuts, seeds, vegetable oils.

The best fruits and vegetables to be used are organic. There are a lot of studies show that organic foods contain higher nutrients. They also contain less toxic nitrates. Therefore organic fruits and vegetables are better for brain development.

Polyunsaturated fatty acid, DHA plays a significant part in the brain development, especially in young children. The good sources for DHA is from fish. Therefore, I would suggest eating fish as a source to boost your memory. Besides, fish also contains Omega-3 fatty acids which help in forms new communication centres in the neuron of the brain.
