North Korea, generally, hit headlines for all the wrong reasons but the latest news from the communist state could be termed  from good to bizarre.

The North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un is looking for a suitable groom for his spinster sister Kim Yo-jong which is good but he has set out eligibility criteria for the bachelors seeking to get into the competition.

The 33 year old leader will soon launch a ‘Swayamvar’ (matchmaking contest) to find a husband for his spinster sister.

Yo-jong, who was recently elected to the governing Central Committee in North Korea, turned 29 recently. She is in charge of propaganda, promotions and appointments for the Jong Un. According to analysts he owes his much-derided fashion sense and hairstyle to her.

Given her high profile position in the land, not just any guy will do.

Jong Un will personally vet 30 likely candidates from the capital Pyongyang’s elite.

But the candidates who are interested in marrying the most powerful woman of North Korea must have to fulfill certain criteria.

Candidates must have graduated from or be students at Pyongyang’s Kim Il-sung University

The candidates must apparently be at least 5ft 10 inches tall and have served in the North Korean army

It’s not for the first time that efforts are made to find dumpy depot’s sister a husband.

Infact, the regime had tried to find her a man in 2012 but no one was deemed eligible for her marital courtship.
