Embarrassment took over entrepreneur Michelle Mone at an event recently when she picked up a 46-year-old married man thinking he was a six years old. Mone, a British entrepreneur and parliamentarian who founded the lingerie company Ultimo, narrated this account on her Twitter account.

Michelle was in Vietnam, attending a conference for entrepreneurs when she was approached by a boy. Before the cringe worthy moment happened, the boy advanced towards her to give her flowers. After happily receiving the flowers from him, Michelle picked him up to pose for a picture, in front of 3000 people.

It was then that Michelle sensed something fishy. “The guy was fine with it and the whole room was screaming with laughter,” Mone told The Mail On Sunday. “I thought something was wrong – his teeth were bright yellow from nicotine.”

That was not it. The man’s wife started yelling at the Baroness, to put his husband down. She even asked Michelle if it was normal in the UK to pick up grown man in that fashion.

Many on Twitter found the incident hilarious. British presenter June Sarpong wrote, “Hilarious, brings new meaning to picking up a man”. However, there were some who particularly did not like the idea of Michelle writing about the incident on Twitter. One user tweeted, “So your multiplying the mans humiliation by tweeting it to amuse your brain dead supporters.”
