Lower Abs Workout

Sexy firm abs get you noticed at the beach, the pool and in the bedroom. A lower abs workout targets the most difficult area to get the abs we all want. Confidence to rip off your shirt knowing everyone will be staring at your sexy mid-section is a great feeling. While there are a lot of lower abs workout variations, here are 3 of the best to get started. More advanced moves can be added, and you can make the exercises below easier if necessary. No matter how strong your abs are, you need to get the fat off your belly to show them off.

First, start with your knees bent and hands under your buttocks to support your lower back. Then bring your knees to your chest then straighten the knees so your feet are straight up in the air. Now thrust your hips upwards, then bring them back down and repeat for 3 sets of 10 reps. On the downward motion, let your legs move away slightly for extra work on your lower abs. The legs remain straight through the entire motion.

Next, have one knee bent with the foot on the ground and one leg straight. Put your hands behind your head with elbows out. This is a stationary bike move. Press your lower back into the floor and lift the bent leg up about 45 degrees and hold for ten seconds. Now lift the straight leg six inches off the floor and hold for 10 more seconds. Switch legs and repeat.

Finally, this exercise may seem too easy at first, but it is very effective. Pretend to be a hunting dog that points. Get on all fours, then lift your right arm and left leg so they are both horizontal. Hold for a second, lower, and switch to the other arm and leg. Do 3 sets of 20 reps, or 10 reps per arm-leg pair.

Now you are ready to get the sexy firm as you want to impress your mate, attract a mate or just make a statement on your next visit to the pool or beach. Try this lower abs workout for about 3 weeks, and then add some different exercises. Remember, to get the abs that impress, you need to get rid of the fat on your belly.
