Blackheads are bothersome and hard to get rid of. You need to keep a constant check on them and if it goes unnoticed, blackheads can cause much embarrassment. Male or female blackheads are a common problem that almost everyone faces. One of the reasons why blackheads are hard to get rid of is that these things grow from under the skin making it hard to clean up every single day. And, also you just can clean every single blackheads in one go. In other words, cleaning process of blackheads is not easy.

However, here are 9 easy and quick home remedies that are effective and clean up blackheads within minutes.

#1. Baking Soda Paste:

Baking soda has antiseptic quality making it one of the best remedies for blackheads. However, there is a catch as baking soda has saltness; it can make your skin a bit dry it is left on skin for longer time.

Method: On a glass bowl make a thick paste of baking soda and water. Apply on the blackheads, let the paste dry and then wash it with lukewarm water.

#2. Honey:

If you have acne related blackheads problem, than honey is the solution because of its antiseptic and anti-bacterial quality. Otherwise also honey is healthy and moisturizing for your skin.

Method: Take pure honey, heat it a bit (enough to apply on the blackheads), apply a thin layer on the blackheads, let is dry for 5 to 10 minutes. Once dry, clean it with a damp and warm cloth.

#3. Lemon Juice:

For removing dead skin nothing is as effective as lemon juice. The properties of lemon work pretty well to remove blackheads in no time.

Method: First wash your face; then on a glass bowl squeeze some lemon juice and apply it on the blackheads by using a cotton ball. Once the lemon dry is dry, wash it off. In fact, you can also leave it overnight and wash it off next morning.

#4. Tomato Mask:

Tomato mask can dry up your blackheads leaving your skin smooth and glowing. In fact, eating tomatoes also has some impressive effect on skin.

Method: Peel a tomato and mash it to make a mask. Apply this mask on your face and rub it for about 2 minutes. You can wash it after the mask is dries or leave it overnight for better effect.

#5. Turmeric:

Turmeric is antioxidant as well as anti-inflammatory that are very effective in healing any sort of skin problem. Rather than using the regular powder turmeric use kasturi turmeric for better effect.

Method: Make a paste by mixing water or coconut oil with a teaspoon of turmeric, apply this paste on blackheads and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes to dry. Once dry wash it with lukewarm water.

#6. Egg White Mask:

Egg white mask is not only useful in removing blackheads but also prevents blackheads from growing in future by tightening the pores of your skin.

Method: Apart from egg white, you will also need facial tissues or toilet paper to apply this treatment. Apply a thick layer of egg white on the blackheads and while wet careful place facial tissue or toilet paper over the layer of egg white. Once the egg white is dry remove the tissue paper, and see the effect on it.

#7. Toothpaste And Salt:

For a quick remedy, nothing is as good as toothpaste and salt. But, this is not a treatment to be used too often as salt and toothpaste both might leave your skin irritated. So use this treatment diligently.

Method: Wash your face and DO NOT let it completely dry. Now, make a paste using salt and toothpaste, and then apply it on your blackheads and rub it for a minute before washing it off.

#8. Aloe Vera:

Aloe Vera is always advisable for getting a better, smoother, and problem-free skin. On the blackheads affected area of your face, you can apply some Aloe Vera juice and its healing properties will show its effects.

#9. Water Treatment:

If your busy schedule forbids you from doing or applying anything on the face regularly then water is a great solution for you. Splash fresh water on your faces 2 to 3 times daily to keep your face clean and dry skin free, and apply light moisturizer for improved skin quality. By keeping your face clean, you will prevent future blackheads from growing in your face.
