Skin cannot be replaced. Not really! But it is hugely expensive so let’s stick to the basics and charm the Venus returns with smooth looks and healthy skin.

Apparently, you have those facial hairs, those uninvited acnes, some uneven skin tone, and few other things that you try not to care about. But, getting rid of them is as simple as fixing a flat tyre (if you consider changing tyre easy), you just need a bit more patience and a little extra effort.

From cleansing to moisturizing, and from shaving irritation to acne, we got the scoop on men’s skincare. Take a look…

1. Cleanse Your Skin

Men have very active sebaceous gland and have large pores. Remove excess oil and open the blocked pores by cleansing your skin on regular basis. Even before shaving, wash your face with water and facial soap to prevent from facial blockage.

2. Exfoliate

Sometimes cleansing is not the only solution. It just washes away oil and dirt but doesn’t clean your skin deep inside. Exfoliating your skin two or three times a week actually cleans your skin properly. Scrub your skin with scrubber that has granules as it will remove dullness. It softens hair follicles for closer and less irritating shave. Exfoliation process also allows the skin to absorb moisturizer.

3. Moisturize

Cleansing and exfoliation can remove the dead layer of skin and blackheads, but it may lead to lack of natural moisturizer. Moisturizing your skin on daily basis will add natural glow and will make it look healthier. During summers, a SPF with moisturizer will work as a shield against sun damage. It will block UVA  rays from entering and damaging your skin.

4. Protect Your Eyes

This is the least worked area for all, and especially men. Fine lines near eyes are often considered as the first visible signs of growing age. A good eye cream can prevent these lines. Eye cream needs to be dabbed gently on the edge of the bone around the eye to maximize the result and should be applied on a regular basis.

5. Protect Your Lips

The cracking, bleeding of lips can be avoided with little care by applying lip balm regularly. During summers, use lip balm with a hint of SPF for better result. In fact, for smokers, this should be a norm to follow.

6. Choice Of Right Razor

Right razor for that clean dashing look is very important. The razor should be such that it is comfortable to hold and move around the fertile area of your face. However, the most important aspect of a razor is the blade. Single blade, double blade, triple blade or a sword (just kidding); use anything that leaves a good impact on the face.

So, men gear up! Taking best care of your skin isn’t just for women.
